Re: XPlane 12.1.1 & 12.1.2
Seems to be fixed now - I downloaded the xp12 version of xpuipc (v0.1.3) from xpuipc.com and placed the appropriate “xpuipc +.xpl” in my resource\plugins folder, and then ran Xplane using the option for it to use a specific port for its web server (eg “— web_server_port=8088”). The FSA client now see ...

XPlane 12.1.1 & 12.1.2
Hi Since XPlane 12.1.1 (and 12.1.2) my FSA client has not been able to detect Xplane is running. I suspect it is related to the new “local web server” setup introduced in v12.1.1; Xplane was crashing as and when it got to the main menu unless I ran it with the “no web server” option; but running it l ...

Re: X-Plane 12 not started
I had the same issue, but I find running FSA client as Administrator seems to make it work.

Re: Maintenance and Fee Changes
OK, I just wanted to check whether I'd be wanting to pre-empt the "go-live" by transferring aircraft that are very close to or beyond the 2-year point and not in locations where we can get some "cheap servicing" :-) I have spent some time over the past 24 hours partially-populating a spreadsheet ...

Re: Maintenance and Fee Changes
Good stuff, Joe. Will encourage those of us running airlines to do a bit of stocktaking and logistics management. Can I ask: can an aircraft be *transferred* if it has not been maintained for 2 years? Also, how many financial transactions will we see in our Finances? i.e. what level of granularity ...

Re: Maintenance Centers
Yes, I found that yesterday I was getting maintenance cancelled instantly, but moving an appropriate budget into the fleet that the aircraft belongs to sorted it out. In my case I have created two new fleets : "Maintenance Due" (to put aircraft in that I deem "in need of maintenance" and therefore ...

Conflict Routes - Clarity, please
Hi UK Direct likes to be a friendly airline and operate partnerships with other airlines. Partly because we have such an extensive schedule of routes, many of the airlines we codeshare with have got a lot of conflicting routes with us (in a few cases, "hundreds of them"). Please can we get clarity ...

UK Direct : Active and Recruiting
To all FSA Crew-members: With at least one Platinum member, UK Direct is now a fully-active FSAirlines operation and with a mass of aircraft of all types and many hundreds of routes available all over the world, it is looking for new pilots including opportunities for fleet and hub managers. Kind ...

Re: Merging with an airline
Hi $600m does sound rather a lot for an aircraft probably worth $200m. FSA's "leasing screen" would probably suggest $10m per week, totalling $260m for 6 months (180 days), although even that might still not be "competitive". As a test, I attempted to lease one of our B747s (worth $200m) for $22m ...

Re: "My aircraft is late from maintenance/transfer"
Hi
I have the same problem. A Boeing 737-800 (G-UBKK) was returned from a lease and is stuck in transfer. It was due to become available on May 26th but is still showing as "grounded".

Simon

Cannot Remove Sold Aircraft Type From Flights
Hi Not a biggy, just an airline admin problem: We at UKDirect had a Saab-2000 and have a number of routes that are setup to be flown with that type. We have today sold our one and only Saab-2000 and wish to remove it from the set of "aircraft types" for the relevant flights. However, when I select ...

LIPE Bologna: In Airport Lists Twice
Just a quick note: Bologna airport is in the airport list for Italy twice, with two different fuel rates. Not sure if this would cause a problem (e.g. when booking flights) but certainly the ambiguous fuel rate might cause confusion! Bologna Bologna LIPE 1.68v$ Bologna Bologna LIPE 1.55v$ Regards ...

Status on secondhand aircraft EZ-IEO
UKDirect bought a 747-400ER (EZ-IEO) this morning (valued at $139m, on sale for $100m) with a status on the list as 99.9%. On looking at our fleet list its status had dropped to 70.7% (and the maintenance would be a C-check $107m). As a check, I put it back on the market and, sure enough, on the ...

Extra zero
Fair enough - but somehow the aircraft's value (rather than the sale price) got the extra zero, which as far as I'm aware is not something the owner would have had any control over? I don't want to start a war over it, just wanted to draw it to the attention of "whomsoever it may concern".

An extra zero ...?
There is an ATR-72 (F-ACVY, no owner) on the market at the moment that is valued at 155,000,000$ (ten times the "normal" value for that type) and is on the market for 139,500,000$. Just thought someone might like to know (FlyNet admin for instance) cos I doubt anyone's gonna buy it at that price :D
