Pilot Auto Von Grosse Point Farms has had 4 days off and he is still not happy about "time spent at home". 20.4 / 30.0
LAS215
Just curious: how many days off do they need to boost their happy scale?
ahhhhh he had 5 days off in Hawaii (10-30 to 11-05) and apparently didn't like it. Detroit based I thought he might like a little Aloha relaxation, guess not. LOL

Yeah, the system calculates how many days home and away and if more than 10 days away they start getting unhappy. Now I did not think about destinations that might make them happy, like Hawaii. But I have had an unexpected lay over in Honolulu once (delayed flight caused missed connection) and I would still rather have been home.

Can you have 2 pilots for a long flight? Because a pilot flew for 12 hours straight

nope, they just have to have their downtime before they can fly again. Have to be under 10 hours in 24 hours, so after a long flight, I give my Tokyo, Honolulu, London and Rome guys at least one day off before they fly back.

@Joe: true on the "holiday destinations" not being all that for everyone. I was stranded in San Diego 911 and it was not a happy time either.

A bug was pointed out that happened when bot pilot did a training flight, is there any point in allowing a bot pilot to do a training flight?
I was actually thinking of adding a possible value in the flight type column on the report that currently records if the flight is a standard/training/private flight to add bot flight as a possibility, this will help in some reporting, but will make it impossible for a bot pilot to do a training or copilot flight.

I have just added a page where you can hire 'Experienced' pilots, pilots who have worked for other airlines but are now unemployed. Generally the costs are half the cost of hiring and training an existing pilot, but you have to move them from their current home base.
Only restriction is you cant rehire someone until 120 days since their last flight for you.

I don't see the point in bot pilots doing training flights or being allowed to copilot unless you start requiring two pilots for trips exceeding 10 hours.
I have a bot pilot that posted a wrong airport landing but the flight report said he was at the intended destination.

Check AV-pilot schedule and flying time.
Today, I booked 3 single scheduled time flights. The flight started directly and lasted only 5 minutes for a 1-hour trip.

Something does seem to be going on there.

I think I found the problem, the system was calculating when the flight should leave and then arrival from that, bit if the flight should have left an hour ago it could cause this problem. So now when the system starts the flight departure must be at least 10 minutes in the future

I think I have found the bug with co-pilots and have reactivated it. As far as automated pilots are concerned, I have set it so they can only be jump seat, but they always accept.

I was wondering if an airline uses automated pilots should we limit its revenue multiplier to 100 for the human pilots don’t generate money too fast
