Hi Konny,
I've been taking one of the CBFS Vikings for a protracted long haul and reached a point where the next legs can only be done on my day off. So.. I decided to leave the old girl where she was (Al Massira) and buy a ticket back to EGLL to continue normal domestic routes on my 'On Days'
One thing struck me when I bought the ticket.. the cost.. v$665!
My routing from the UK to Al Massira is as follows..
Northolt to Merignac (pax ticket price v$101)
Merignac to Anglet (pax ticket price v$68 )
Anglet to Gibraltar (pax ticket price v$107)
Gibraltar to Al Massira (pax ticket price v$101)
This little lot amounts to v$377 for all those pax who endured the entire trip. How then was I charged v$665 for a ticket back to the UK (noting that LHR is 5nm closer than Northolt!) Something, somewhere is not quite right me thinks.
Regards
DaveB

I once paid 5$ for a ticket between San Francisco and Oakland where the standard airline price was 58v$, but the airports are only about 5 miles apart, every other ticket seamed to cost much more than the standard airline price. I think a change to use the standard airline rte is a good one.
