I really do not see what you find complicated Sam, At the moment I can select a fleet manager to look after one or several different fleets. Which is great, and a big shout out for Joe for making this possible. My problem is that the only way for the fleet manager to fly aircraft in his personal fleet I would have to give him a unique rank, which is what I am trying to avoid.
Our Ranks at BVG match FSAirlines ranking system, and is set up for automatic promotion, the final promotion a pilot can get to is Fleet Manager. when a pilot reaches that stage I would just like to assign him a fleet that he alone can fly and control. At the moment this is not posable.
Joe can fix this if enough VA owners approve.
I am passionate about FSAirlines and have had my VA for over 10 years now, I am approaching my 70th birthday so please just say yes to what I am asking for, even all the VA owners that I have had the pleasure of meeting on the way to our success, I know that certain other VA's would find this very useful.

I have been giving this some thought and think I may have come up with a solution that will not really add to much complications.

Pilots can always fly aircraft from fleets they are assigned to.

The only visible changes to the website would be removal 'If Assigned' option to the 'Allow usage of fleet aircraft' permission along with appropriate messages on the rank edit and fleet assignment page stating that pilot can always fly aircraft from fleets they are assigned to. Maybe the option would just appear be permanently checked with no ability to turn it off.

Things have gotten very busy for me recently and right now my top priority are updates to the XML/data interface. Some time after that is done.

I really do hope that my request has not been forgotten, We are waiting to restructure our va but need this feature before we make any changes.
