I don't really like money based stats, its too easy to manipulate your revenue with the multiplier and flying super jumbo's between improbable cities, so at least until we have a more realistic competition model I don't think we will go there. The stat that impresses me the most is the 'Rating' stat, which is just the sum of the flight ratings, cause when it comes down to it if your doing a 200nm flight in a CRJ200 or a 6000nm flight in an A380, in FS its the same amount of effort.

Based on the feedback here I think what we will do is to reduce the current miles stats categories by the flights sim rate but add a category or two based on the raw miles for those who want to see that (something like 'Raw miles' and/or 'Raw passenger miles').

so your gonna change it based on what 15 people said out of the what 500+ here? then like i said before, man power also would need to be calculated in... because that sim rate was what allowed me to compete with the 10+ airlines...

I would just like to say that this isn,t a competition it is a flight simulator. The stats are only there for information.

I don’t understand Stan, are you saying it should be ok to use TC or it would be better not to use TC and receive the miles for them? I know when I do fly it seems like my flight patterns and yours are somewhat similar as far as the use of TC. We both use TC and we have both received awards for Most Miles while using Time Compression. The way I view it if we had the same three awards Most Miles, Most Active, and Best Rating and the admin staff here wanted to change it to only those that fly with out time compression that would be cool with me. As a matter of fact I may want to fly more, even though I don’t have a lot of time to fly, I could set up a flight before going to bed at night and land it when I return home from work the next day. Now I understand that some people are going to say that’s not right to set up a flight turn on auto pilot and leave the keyboard, but truth be known I bet most of you do it.

All in all I am glad to see Joe change the stats to only non-time compression flights or reducing the miles by the time the flight was compressed, good job Joe Fremont and I stand behind your discussion.

TJ.What i am saying is its OK to use TC,but get rid of the stats altogether. That way nobody will be complaining about what somebody else is doing, and we could all get on with the flying.Sure i have had awards for most miles but i didn,t do those flights to get the awards i did them to bring in some cash to set-up my Leasing business .If anyone would like to buy my awards they are $3M EACH
PS. I am not selling my "Pilot of the Month,Best Rating,May 2008 Award".I will keep this one.
