Re: Passenger figures

Also, check the flightplan. Make sure that it doesn't have "limit passengers" checked and set to 0.

Re: Passenger figures

Means the airport was out of passengers due to too many flights operating from the airport that day.

Re: setting up icing..

AirEd is the #1 AIR FILE editor, but be careful and only change the areas that are specified in the Ice Warning gauge as making edits in other areas can cause unwanted changes.

Re: Military Airbase

No it is not. FSAirlines is a AIRLINE simulation, not a AIR FORCE simulation.

The only thing I can think of that might give most of what he's looking for is FSACARS.

Re: SAR Helicopters

Not really since those kinds of operations involve landing at non-airports and/or originating and arriving at the same airport. It also requires that you have some sort of revenue as if you run a negative balance, you'll not be able to buy more aircraft and when you're departing and arriving at the ...

Re: Edit airports.

ANYN is the FS2004 default ICAO code. As a result, it will be the only one in the database used until such time as multiple ICAO codes can be supported. There are multiple threads on this subject in the "Bugs & Problems" thread and additionally, I'm pretty sure the FAQ and Wiki reference this as ...

Re: Request an Aircraft database update

All Boeing maximum capacities are correctly set per the Boeing and FAA Certification documents. I had updated the MacDonald Douglas aircraft, but it seems someone changed them back.

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules

If you want to do a Flamingo, I'd head over to the Classic British Flightsim website - www.cbfs.co.uk and join the forum. They have a "Developers Corner" and lots of great resources of guys who like Classic British aircraft like the Flamingo and would be able to help you.

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules

Unfortunately, unless your aircraft fits a very specific niche, putting in the real numbers won't end up with a properly flying aircraft. There's a lot of "black magic" to how FS works on that side and I've spent the better part of a decade trying to figure it out myself with very little success. I ...

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules

Are you sure you have the most up-to-date model? I've got a lot of hours in the CaptainSim C-130 and never had a problem with the fuel consumption being low and the performance was pretty spot-on for any weight, especially in FS9

Re: Captain Sim C130 hercules

I wouldn't mess with the CS C-130 Matt. The performance is pretty close to the real thing. They made compromises in the CFG to get the Constant-Speed Turbine model to work right because no matter what you do, unless you do an Accusim-style module that runs completely external of the program, the sim ...

Re: Prepar3D

While you are correct they want "hard core" simmers, adding something like FSAirlines would indeed make it an "entertainment" platform and violate the EULA.

Re: Prepar3D

Joe, I would not really consider supporting Prepar3D. 1) They did not license FSX, they licensed ESP, a modified version of FSX designed for commercial users only. 2) The contract for the rights specifically prohibits ESP/Prepar3D being used for anything other than commercial use. I highly doubt ...
