Hi Joe,
After the release from the MSFS patch yesterday with a patched simconnect I was trying to make a flight for my VA Andras Meridian Airlines.
Sadly according to the FSA client, the sim is not started I tried automatic, simconnect and FSUIPC but the result is the same it won't start the booked flight, did a new installation with the release candidate 2.4rc5 but until now no luck.

Best regards,
Ruud Meijer AMA195

I had the same issue but for some unknown reason it is fixed for me.
Unfortunately a friend still has the exact same issue and has so far been unable to fix it.

I tried it last night using SimConnect and it worked ok. But I think the simconnect I am using is the one from the P3D SDK. That can be found here.

https://www.prepar3d.com/support/sdk/

You might check to see if there is a new version of FSUIPC7 you can use, it can be found here.

https://forum.simflight.com/topic/90193 ... -for-msfs/

One difference with FSUIPC7 is that you need to start it every time as an app before you can use it, unlike the older versions that you could just install and forget about.

I will research this more when I have time.

hey there, confirm that the client doesn't see mfs with simconnect!

FSUIPC7 do the job with the client

same thing with 2.3.3 FLIGHT SIMULATOR VERSION: UNKNOWN SimConnect: (needed:10.0) Correct FS settings: wrong airport

Well this is an interesting turn of events

How many others are now grounded? Going to try a full reboot now.

Full computer reboot after reinstalling 2.3.3 worked for me with FSX Steam Edition

Dont use 2.3.3 with MSFS, use the beta client, 2.4-rc5.

I am actually getting ready to release a 2.4.0 stable this weekend.

I just tested the latest MSFS update with the latest FSUIPC7 that was released 8/28/2020 and it worked ok.

Can confirm I've had no issues with the original and latest MSFS version using FSUIPC7 and 2.4 rc5 of FSAirlines.

I am not using the new MSFS, I am referring to changes in the Beta Client that seemed to break it for FSX-SE. I had to revert back to 2.3.3.

Is that the sim or FSA having the ZFW wrong?

Using the Beta and X-Plane, I am getting this NOT STARTED error far too often. It seems to be more prevalent if you move the plane before started the client. What makes this most frustrating is I am flying the ZIBO and there is a lot of work to get this bird ready to fly only to have to start over completely making sure you client is running as soon you get your ZFW setup. Don't do anything else until you are certain the client is running or else you make get screwed and have to start over completely.

What good is the AUTOMATIC LOGIN at STARTUP for if it does not Login at startup! Very frustrating. Loosing interest fast!

I am a bit frustrated with X-Plane right now, we are limited currently to using XPUIPC for the interface and the people who were maintaining that have disappeared. I do plan on trying to rebuild a new X-Plane native plug-in but that's going to be a big project and could not give a timeline as to when that could be done or even when I could start on it, definitely not soon. But I need to get it done before X-Plane has a major update that breaks XPUPIC.
