FSA client for X-plane

Post by MartinRiggs »

Dear FSA developers! Is there any plans to make FSA client for X-Plane 9? There are a lot of pilots using X-plane who wants to fly in FSA. There are many programmers in our community who can help you with client or make it by themselves even, but they need your permission and some info. What can you say?

Martin Riggs with best regards.

I've seen that there is a tool for x-plane called XPUIPC which emulates FSUIPC. This would be the most easiest way to make the Client compatible with X-Plane. I just have to tell the XPUIPC dev what data we need for FSA so he can add it in the next release.
The only problem is that this would be a solution for windows users only. People who run Mac or Linux would still have to wait until we finished our X-Plane client.

It is real. Konny is going to upload a new client until tomorrow, which will also contain an early alpha version for XPlane :)

At the moment the X-Plane Client is Windows only but I'll work on the Linux and Mac versions while fixing all the bugs and problems ( if there are any ;-) ). But that will probably take some time as it's not easy to convert a program which never was intended to be cross platform compatible.

Well, in general I think we could release a Linux Client within a week if we want to, the only problem is that the X-Plane Client for Windows and Mac still has some bug which I would like to fix first.
