Aviation for 2008 in the US... and any other country...

Well i believe this year will be very bad for aviation. In the 3 months that has happened this year we have already had 30+ accidents/incidents in the US alone, 3 major airlines (Aloha Airlines, ATA airlines, and Champion Air, and a 4th small regional one that was in the midwest) in the US all close within 4 days of each other, the first hull loss for 2 aircraft, the Boeing 777 and 717. and much, much more...

just wondering what others are feeling on the rest of this year...

also if your country is having bad times in aviation go ahead and post it...

With the current US recession, I am sure that airline's will try to cut down their costs by doing less maintenance (hey the Alaskan Airlines did that with their MD-83) and more accidents will follow.

As a member of the real airline community

I find this thread tasteless and pointless speculation by a group of rank amateurs
