CaptainSIM 130 and RFP747

Guys, I have this annoying problem with the C130 and now also the RFP 747.
I start the engines, go to start my flight in the FlyNET client, when I come back to my aircraft, the engines are off and all fuel is gone...
I tried this with the Standard and Compare Fueling modes, still nothing...
Anyone else experiencing this?
I was able to fly the C130 by starting my flight in the client, then my sim and then going through the Engine Start process. I tried that with the 747... no joy

(This information is also contained in the "Tips and Tricks" section)
DO NOT START YOUR ENGINES BEFORE STARTING THE CLIENT.
The procedure is -
1) Start FS and load your flight.
2) Ensure ENGINES are off and PARKING BRAKE is set.
3) Start any auxilliary programs (FSINN, Squawkbox, ActiveSky, FSMeteo, etc).
4) If fueling via the "Compare" method, fuel your aircraft.
5) Otherwise, start the client, click "Fly Booked Flight" and fuel the airplane.
6) Fly your flight.
Attempting to start your flight with the engines started WILL cause issues. The client was never designed for this, so doing so is not a bug, it's user error.

There is an issue with RFP discussed
here.
The last client to be stable with RFP was version 3b. Since then my RFP 742 has been gathering dust in the hangar. I'd love to take it into the FlyNET skies again one day.

Saw discussions about the PMDG 747, but nothing about Ready For Pushback...

you will notice Busy jet fly the B742 which is the RFP one for me it works fine provided you have a minimum of 70,000lbs at start up (for the APU to start)
under no circumstances operate the reserve fuel valve or you will lose all your fuel
i have yet to try it under the "compare" method but since the PSS Concorde has a way more complex fuel system i will be suprised if thier is a problem
will try it in a few days using compare
i Busy Jet also fly the CS C130, you need a minimum of 20,000lbs for the APU to start, again not tested under the compare method

My fuel load was 198000lb for OEJN-EGCC with a fairly heavy 742F. Fuel vanished during crz or at top of descent (tried the flight several times).

I was aware of this so I never touched the reserve valves. Still had vanishing fuel and a crashed plane.

hmm i wonder if thats the scavenge pump starting up
suggest making sure the scavenge pump is off (though it works fine for me)
have you tried the "Compare" method of fueling ?

Sounds like exactly the problem I had. In the linked thread I received a reply suggesting that the problem might be RFP not being programmed in accordance with MS SDK, if I remember rightly.

I haven't switched on the scavenge pump, and there's no fuel in the centre tank anyway. Yes, I was using Compare, but still no joy.

FlyNET shows my plane with 47823 kg fuel. I need 30,000 for my flight, so more than enough... still gone...
yes... Center tank is empty so no use for scavenge pumps.
This really hurts, because I love my RFP

i have been flying "standard" the way its always been with no problem except as noted about the reserve fuel valves and the minimum 70k fuel limit
have you tried using standard ?
also are you at the latest patch ? thier was one for the scavenge pump if i recall
fuel heaters are also on at or above 36k alt right ? fuel panel closed and locked ?

Yes I used to use standard all the time until the last client update, no problems with version 3b. I can't remember whether I've tried standard mode with the latest client... I think I did, and experienced problems, which is why I switched to Compare mode after advice on the forum. It's so long since I've tried standard mode I'll have to try it again.

My RFP has the June and October patches from the RFP support forum before it closed.

Haven't been above FL360 and yes, the fuel panel is closed. Doesn't it lock itself when you close it?
Thanks for looking into this
