I have used the client for some time on fsx and it worked beautifully. but when i try to use it on fs2004, it says that it dosnt detect the sim running. what am i missing to have it detect it?

Might be the different FSUIPC versions.
I am not an expert but I think FS9 and FSX use different types of FSUIPC and our client is depending on it heavily.

Yeah both FSX and FS9 use different versions of FSUIPC. I think it comes down to the program structure dufference between FSX and 9. So put the revelvant versions with each game and then you should be able to pick and chose!!

i see where to get it but which program do i choose, the fsuipc is either run options or somethuing different. what do i dwnload?

FSUIPC4 is for FSX exclusively. FSUIPC 3.xx (I think the last release was 3.86) is for FS9 and earlier.
