Hi Guys,

I had a problem using the detailed refueling method this morning, and have now repeated the steps taking screenshots to show what happened.

The plane is an Armstrong Whitworth Argosy which has four tanks each of which would normally be loaded with an equal amount of fuel.

1) Detailed refueling page, I want a total of 1,200 kgs. There is currently 804kgs of fuel on board.



2) Refuel and Fly. There is only 900 kgs FOB, Where's the rest?



3) Exit FlyNET client so that I can open MSFS fuel menu. Nothing has been added to the left tip tank.



After adding the fuel required in MSFS I launched the client again and using the Compare method was able to get the fuel I wanted where I wanted it.

A minor problem is that on both of the flights where I had this problem I got penalties both for having the landing lights on over 10,000 ft and then for them being off under 1,000 ft. I'm certain that the light switches were correct at all times. I've been flying this plane regularly and haven't had any penalties for a long time. Four in two flights is annoying.



They are off! Could exiting and restarting the client during refueling cause the penalties? Could a step back function be added to steps 3 and 4 of the refueling pages so that we could change refueling method without having to exit the client?

John, the landing light issue is easy - your landing lights are still on. Hold on a sec - keep reading.

The way the gauge is programmed, if for any reason you click the switch to the "on" position twice, you will actually turn the landing lights off. Continuing to click the switch in the "on" position will continue to cycle the landing lights. What has happened here is that you have at some point double clicked the switch and the lights turned off and thus when you returned the switch to neutral, the lights turned back on. Since it's light outside, the only way to see that the lights are still on is to go to the spot view and look.

The other issue... good question. I'd just use the "Compare" fueling method instead.

I understand what you're saying about the lights although I haven't had the problem before with quite a large number of Argosy flights. I'll go and experiment a bit.

I'll use the compare method of fueling as you suggest, at least you know what's happening for the next person who posts a "where's my fuel" report.

Jon, I'd done multiple flights in the Argosy as well before I got tagged for that "error" and when I went to the spot view, sure enough the lights were on even with the switch off. I didn't remember double-clicking the switch to do that, but I guess I did.

You're absolutely right about the Argosy light switch. How weird is that.

Still no idea why I clicked it on twice but I suppose I must have done. Thanks for the advice.
