Looks like someone has messed with there fuel flow scalar

Fuel burn for the time flown may be correct. Time flown for the distance is not. Methinks some slewing afoot.

Hi ,
I know Mr. Derin personally and we are in contact via mail/phone/msn all the time ...
What is the problem or problems with his flights (so I can ask directly in Turkish 'cause his English is not perfect
)
Best wishes ,

Well others pointed this out. Flying 8,087 nautical miles in 1 hour is suggestive of slewing.
Departure Planned Arrival Arrival Distance Duration Block Fuel
LTBA \ 05:55 YSSY YSSY \ 06:54 8087nm 00:59 (1h) 8541kg
In this next part it would appear that the member is flying with unlimited fuel checked on. Without paying for fuel the bottom line skyrockets to the positive side.
Fuel cost: Fuel Price ( 1.21v$ ) x 1.234 x Fuel Bought ( 0kg ) -0v$
Hope that helps. I caught one member who only made one flight using unlimited fuel and he quit shortly there after. We are all in friendly competition and keeping the playing field even helps out a lot.

Fuel burn is the issue. The flight time can get messed up because of the 24 hour clock, and an intrinsic bug in Flight SIm.
Stated simply: 20,000 lbs fuel for 8000nm is cheating.

Hi again ,
I talked to Mr. Derin just a couple mins ago and explained the complaint asked for a reply ...
He said that he did not used unlimited fuel any time but conffessed using FsNAV's "Move Aircraft To Here" function .
He explained his thoughts and wishes , somehow understandable , he wants to build the actual fleet of Turkish Airlines and simulate the whole flights of it etc.etc.
I advised him not to use that function again , explaining the friendly competion here we have .
Anyway , here are my thoughts ;
FlyNET Client disables the SLEW function but it can not disable FsNAV's this function as we learned ( maybe we can make another check , if aircraft moves fast we can take it back to its location or completely disable that flight to avoid cheating )
Also in my opinion we do not need the SimRate ability , I can understand the oceanic flights but 16x is not realistic and must not be allowed . Maybe only 2x or 4x can be allowed but not much more .
Best Wishes ,

Well there already is a penalty for going over 4x's sim rate. You do not recieve a bonus for anything over 4x's. Also the biggest bonus is at 1x's and goes down from there.

Fatih -
The Sim Rate is up to the CEO of the airline. If you don't want to use Sim Rate, then just set all of your flights to "1x" limit. But I don't agree to forcing this on everyone. This is still a hobby and not everyone has time to fly 6 or more hour flights in real time.

Hi Guys,
To add my tuppence worth to this discussion. I wouldn't like to loose the possibility of using time compression. As I and many others have limited time to fly, our activities would be restricted without it. As has been pointed out it's use is at the discretion of the CEO and there is a loss of bonus for using it.
At Venture Hawaii we actually have relatively few flights that allow it as most of our routes are short haul apart from the flights between our different areas of operations.
As for slewing or unlimited fuel, that certainly shouldn't be allowed and personally I don't see the point. What on earth do you gain by using them.
