No it works fine for me and I have to expect my other two pilots as they are flying now.

FWIW, what always works for me is, I down load the new zip, unzip into a temp folder and then just copy the .exe into the old fly-net folder on my C-drive{say yes to any overwrite prompt}. I then delete the old short cut from my desk top and make a new one for the new .exe..

For some reason, any other way has not worked for me..

there have been made no changes to the login. so I don't know why it shouldn't work. are you sure that you typed it right? can you login on the homepage?

Dakurt

Nope havnt changed anything , and yes I can log into the homepage no problem - Is there anything that would change?
as I said when I login on the client it says "bad login or password". So Im stumped and I want to try the new fueling
program with the Viscount as this has been one of the big drawbacks of using it...

Any help you can give - even changing my login would be appriecated

I have no idea. it must have something to do with your computer...maybe you didn't set your firewall right? hmm I have to go to work now...me or konny will care for you later...sorry for that.

Do you still have the old Client folder intact? If so, try replacing the .exe only. {the file with the Logo} I have the login info set up so windozzz remembers my login. This has helped speed things up. I just double click the fly-net icon and my info is already filled in..

Let us know if you don't get it sorted out.. I'll be up late..

Now Im getting VERY frustrated

I removed EVERY trace of FLYNET from my system - reloaded the new client and Im STILL getting a "Login data incorrect"
box - ok before anyone else asks the same question

YES Im using the same name and password that I use to access the home page and its working there so - I changed NOTHING on my computer before uploading the new client.

Is there anyway to reset my login on the home page and see if that works?

Thanks Ivan - No its a bit more difficult than that - as Im the CEO of a semi successful carrier.

Truthfully - I have seen both Konny and Kurt on the forum since my last post - and neither have the courtesy to respond.

Lets see to make it easier.

1/. I havnt changed anything on my firewall in the last two days
2/. I have added NO programs other than the updated client in the last two days
3/. I have flown in the last two days and it worked perfectly

So Kurt I DONT think its my computer - I think that the update did something when I uploaded it - all Im asking is
that if it DOESNT read my login BUT the homepage does - wheres the problem? I even thought about taking FSUIPC
down and reinstallling - I aslo went through and made surethe flynet.ini file had been taken out BEFORE uploading it again.

Now Konny, Kurt - All I ask is that if its possible you can reset my password so I can see if that works, a little courtesy
would be nice

konny will have an eye on your password and reset it if you want.

One more thing. you said you didn't change anything on your firewall. but you have to give the new flynet client new rights, cause the firewall (normally) detects that the file has changed.

please stop accusing us of not helping you. we have enough to do (in flynet and in REAL LIFE!). I spent about 9+ hours programming in the last three days, and please don't forget that we have a job, too. by the way...it's good to see guys beeing frustrated because flynet doesn't work, because it means that you acutually like flynet :)

so please calm down and we'll solve your problem!

Leif - I feel for you, its is VERY frustrating, but, please remember that this is a game/simulation that is free, and that both Konny and DK are doing this in their own time. Please cut them some slack. Accusing the very people who keep this going, of being discourteous is not the way to go. They are not at your beck and call every time you have a problem and I'm sure will get to you shortly. Deep breath fella

Cheers now
