My airline is Wolf AirLines

I was taxing at KPHX going to Kingman Arizona. I was on the taxiway and I looked in the outside view. I was greeted with DON'T SINK! the Dash 8 jumped up and down on the taxiway with smoke coming from the tires. My jaw fell open. This happened a total of three times that I looked outside the aircraft. The FlyNET client recorded this as THREE CRASHES!   The third time that I looked out the MSFS said overstress the aircraft. WTHeck!

Can someone please wipe those out for my airline please. Then tell me how or what I did wrong to cause the Dash 8 to freak out!

Turn off Crash detection in FS, that helps a bit. Make sure your KPHX tower is actaully at KPHX (the view). This usually solves a lot of the problems. Beyond that, get a new, better AFCAD for the airport.
Oh, and email info@flynet.en-studios.de with this same report, they'll set you right again.

Thank you I have emailed them concerning the problem.

Does turning off crash detection prevent you from crashing into the ground? That would take away the realism factor not to mention that FlyNET would not recognize a crash.

Flynet has its own crash detection, based upon v/s. The issue with Flight SIms C/d is that it is very touchy and has a tendency to find 'objects' that arnt really there.

It happens at a few airports. I just re-start the flight when flyNET isn't on.

I'm not sure about the flyNET part of the problem, it's to do with FS though not flyNET

What version of Dash 8 are you using? The bouncing could be the result of a cfg issue which is known in the Dreamwings version.

I've had that happen before and it was a joystick issue. It needed a bit more deadband, the jostick axis was spiking slightly and without adequate deadband it made the aircraft hop.

Very INTERESTING! I will check that out, I thought that I even saw the Cessna Caravan bounce a bit but the results were not so dramatic as the Dash 8 was.

I can hardly wait for them to reset my Airline database because that looks AWFUL!

Salute!

I just ran a bunch of tests. The Dash 8 is the ONLY one that bounces sitting dead still. It does not matter what version of Dash 8 either. Does not matter if collisions are on or off.

then it must be a problem with the aircraft.

Have you tried a different model

Like I said I tried different models that I have. I think that it has to do with that warning voice thing commonly called a bitching betty. All the models that I have are equipped with the same bitching betty.

I'll be a sorry sucker! I just tried the Dreamworks model and it jumped also and it does not have the bitching betty!

Does it jump when you shift views? Only at a certain airport?

Just tried it with the Joystick disabled and it still jumped from the tower view. Have not tried a different airport yet.
