could anyone help in this matter. i have just started a new airline based within the canadian far north. i have placed two flight plans into the system and just booked a flight from yellowknife cyzf to hay river cyhy. a total distance of 105 miles.
the booked form from flynet shows a distance of 3000miles. as i've booked the flight how do i get round this error without problems to my cash flow. also how many more error's are there in the data base, for flights to small airfields with canada.
do i have to use only major airfields within flynet.

Hi,

You can check and modify the airport locations etc yourself. Just go into the database :)

Hope that helps. If not a DB admin should be able to help you out.

thanks for the tip, checked the data and found incorrect. tried to edit and only one figure unable to rectfy.

as per fs9 map details for hay river CYHY Lat N60- 50- 38
Lon W 115- 46- 97
Elv 543ft
runways 13/31 tarmac 1824ft
4/22 gravel 1219 ft
was not able to imput the longitude figure, hence the 3000miles distance for a 105 mile trip. i will now check data for all airports that i will be using.

another airfield with problems
tried to edit info but not able to place three number digit into heading.
as per fs9 data. Lat N61-45-62
Lon W121-14-20
elev 555ft
runways 13/31 1825ft tarmac

the problem has been the first three digits to the long/lat the program will not accept them. thus shows way out miles.
