Firstly thank you staff for adding the Challenger 650 into the aircraft db so quickly. I know with Hot Start's imminent release of the Challenger 650 on Jan 7th the aircraft might become quite popular here.
I noticed both the Challenger 604 and 650 are currently listed with 19 pax capacity but should be a max of 12. I was unable to suggest an edit to pax capacity in the aircraft types list.

I found the FAA type certificate for the aircraft which you can find here.
https://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guid ... _Rev50.pdf
It lists the "Maximum Occupants" as "Twenty-one (includes crew)". Minus the two pilots and you have 19. (with 19 pax and a max payload of about 2800 kg an attendant is not required).
As far as the FAA type certificate shows the Challenger 604, 605 and 650 are all the same aircraft model, the model number is just marketing, the 650 has slightly more powerful engines so a different entry in the database is acceptable.
Moral of the story, never trust marketing materials.

Wow, can't imagine them packing 19 passengers on that little aircraft, interesting that the marketing material lists fewer than the FAA cert. I see the 650 is in the aircraft db now but how long before it shows up in the manufacture's list for purchase?

Oh, it was created as a private aircraft, meaning no airlines, changed to commercial.

Wow for 32 mil for one Challenger, I can get a fleet (5) of CRJ2's and just convert them to VIP seating. LOL
And that is what a lot of exec jet operators are doing - scouring the boneyards for useable CRJ2's to convert to biz jets.
