A member wants to add an airport/helipad at location 47°00'13.0"N 8°59'23.0"E which if you put into google maps is on top of a snowy mountain. Normally we require some infrastructure at the location for it to be an airport, otherwise its just a place aircraft land from time to time but not really an airport.
The pilot responded that these are registered locations where helicopters can land, they have been issued actual ICAO codes and provide a link to a website to show that, here is that link.

So the question I have is should we allow these types of airports where there is nothing really there, its just a designated spot where aircraft can land with no infrastructure.
Our normal rule has been that there actually has to be a real airport there now or a commercial airport there at some time in the past. I have though that in some future update I would add the ability to create remote locations that a flight could fly to and return as part of a flight, but that would be some time down the road.

I've sworn an oath of solitude until the pestilence is purged from the lands.
