Hmmmmm, airports, aircraft and packages are all working for me. Maybe Joe fixed it already.

Re: Couldn't connect to database server
Sorry about that, I managed to get the server rebooted.
I have been offline since yesterday when my flight sim computer died on me.

Re: Couldn't connect to database server
Thx Scott.
The same thing happened to it last year, I use a laptop so I can be out with the family when I fly rather than back in my cave on a desktop computer, the problem with laptops is because they are one integrated piece of hardware you can just swap out a part and fix it. In this case it's a power supply problem. The circuitry in the external power supply detects some sort of fault in the laptop and turns itself off. I was actually working on an update to the FSA client when the laptop just went dead when the battery completely drained
I sent it back into Dell last year for the exact same problem and now it's doing it again, plus some of the fans were making not very nice sounds so I am thinking this five year old computer is not worth it right now so its time to get something to replace it.
