Hi Flyers,

Since many of us are locked down at home with little to do I am extending to anyone who wants it a free Gold account for one month to everyone who does not already have one, so you can fly for free.

To activate go to Personal -> Premium Account and then select 'Activate Gold Special' from the options on the right.

As soon as I put this up my suspicious mind started working on 'how are people going to abuse this'. For now I have come up with the rule that to get the special, you need to have flown at least one flight and hopefully that will be enough for now.

I will keep this special active while we are required to be locked down. When I am allowed to go back to work in San Francisco I will probably be the time I deactivate the promo.

One side effect of the times we are living in, more people are home flying. I just looked at the numbers of flights flown on FSA and was comparing them to the previous year.

Now on FSA our numbers were up in general, for October, November and December there were about 30% more flights that the year before. But for March there was 70% more than last year and for April there are 84% more, and there are still 10 days left in the month.

No wonder I seam so busy.

All good things must come to and end, and after 15 months of this special I am going to turn it off. The last day to activate this will be June 25.
