Real weather in the UK...

Has anyone else been flying in the UK recently(last 3 days)? I've been flying real weather and have been experiencing some strong gusty winds (60+ kts) that have been reversing direction in the blink of an eye from about 8000' up to about FL270?
Just put this post in to see if it's my system, or actually happening to others
