Prop vs. Jet

If you were a passenger on a regional flight, would you prefer to be in a jet or in a prop aircraft?

My lil bro was nervous when we took a Dash from Munich to Florence last year. "I don't like to see the landing gear right next to me," shows how confused he was at first. And he isn't some little kid either, just not an aviation one.
