If you keep asking, NEVER.

#1 rule of freeware - NEVER, EVER ask dates.

Unlocked.

Pete, it is generally bad form to ask for dates about fixes and upgrades. There are many difficulties in keeping to a schedule for a freeware developer, namely, we have lives as well.

If we publish a date, we will publish it. But don't ask 'when will it be done'

Cheers.

Now I am not admin, mod or anything else with a bit of power. So I am just going to say Pete patiance my friend its Freeware if you can do better then why have you not built a Flynet version.

Now if it was payware then by all means blast away you have the right to then

I was reading a thread in another forum where a Payware Developer has stated that a release of scenery is going to take longer because even though he can get the FS9 version up in 8 weeks the FSX version may take longer. He wont release the FS9 version until he has FSX ready. Now to me that sucks as a lot of his subscribers paid him in advance for 5 Scenery releases which he said would be done in one year. Now because of FSX he has gone back on his word and promise made to those subscribers.

A second designer has been promising for months correction years that a certain Airport is going to be released by him! Any call to complain? No its Freeware.

If its Payware complain if its Freeware Dont.

Jeez, you can't even ask a question here :(, firstly Drako can you tell me when he "blasted away" and secondly where in his his post is he complaininhg?

He just asked a simple question, a simple I don't know would have sufficed, but thats probably too simple for the likes of you

1) He used an Exclamation Point (!) that is pretty close "blasting away".

2) Re-read what he asked - no answer other than a timeline would have been acceptable to him by the way he worded it. There are a lot of ways to word it that you're not asking for a timeline but an update and a few that do ask for a timeline and he picked one of the ways that asks for a timeline. If he really wasn't interested in when, he should have asked something like -

Hey, I'm wondering how things are progressing with the PMDG fuel issue?

I'm wondering if there's been any breakthroughs on the PMDG fuel issue?

Konny, have you had a chance to look at the PMDG fuel issue?

Konny & DaKurt have both stated that they're aware of the issue and that they are working on it, so people just need to be patient and understand that it will be fixed when they are able to fix it and not any sooner.

hi everyone,

I'm currently working on new fueling methods. Yesterday I spent several hours with programming, because it's very complicated and I'm having some problems (which I WILL be able to solve...I hope :P ). Me and Konny have a full time job so we only have time to do something at night or at the weekend. I hope that I can upload a new version this or next week.

cheers
DaKurt

P.S.:
The duplicate reports bug should be already fixed in this new version ;)

Okay, the question has been answered so I'm locking this thread. There is no additional need for replies here. If anyone has any lingering issues on this thread, address them via Private Message. All further threads referencing the contents of this one (other than the legitimate question on what is being done about the fueling system) WILL be removed.
