Re: Merging with an airline

Hey flightsimer We did that last night even tried adding 3 aircraft for lease over 180 days and I still get a "Because of your airline status you can't lease for this price" message. Is there a way the admins can do this manually? OR an option i can just transfer the money. The airline i am joining ...

Merging with an airline

Hi all I am bust doing a merger. I have sold just about all my planes and now I need to move some cash around. We have setup a 744 for 1 day lease at V$1.8bil and when i try and lease i get "Because of your airline status you can't lease for this price" - any ideas what i can do to get around this ...

Re: Tired of "one man shows" looking for pilots?

Hi guys

I have been made an offer by another airline which i have decided to accept. I wasn't looking for anything in particular so I didn't put anyone up against another.

Thanks though :)

Re: Tired of "one man shows" looking for pilots?

Hi Brian Interested in a South African Hub?? I won't be paying for a premium account because I am a "one man show" and did this for fun but RW (AND exchange rates) dictate that I move off my VA and join an airline perhaps. I have the following which I would be fine to transfer to BC: B744, B762 ...

Re: Looking for A380 Pilot

Yes i am more than happy making a partnership with your airline. But i am reconstructing my airline (i am awaiting permision from a real world airline) so i am not flying as mush as i would like as i dont have the complete fleet as of yet. But there is some good in this. my new fleet has A330 ...

Re: Aircraft Range(s)

Hey Joe (hendriks? hmmmm lol) Yes i can understand that. I did a whole spreadsheet on this plane today. Could be overkill i guess but I like to be pretty realistic. I did some checks on Wikipedia and on the Antonov site itself etc. So based on my flight i just did - i was a little heavy footed but ...

Re: Aircraft Range(s)

I figured it out. I guess the easiest was to ratio the scalar but then it would not give accurate fuel usage data. So I added a center tank in the config file based on the number of pounds spec'd on a 1900nm range. So i will be testing tonight!

Aircraft Range(s)

Hi all I bought an Antonov AN-148. Nice plane etc. But, when looking at the stats for it's range on FSA it says the range is 1900 but, in my calculations I am burning around 7,5lbs of fuel per nm AVERAGE - taking other flights in consideration. So my last trip my fuel calcs were correct +/- and i ...

Re: Looking for A380 Pilot

I was just looking at pricing for the A380's. Even "used" they are pretty costly!! Perhaps i need to take some leave and fly 24hours a day LOL

But maybe it would be good to lease one and build the finances that way.

Re: Looking for A380 Pilot

That is no problem. I am not flyiing as much as i would LOVE to but that's one of those RL things hey! I have not too many hours in an A380 but MANY with Antonov 225 in Flight Sim - so big birds are enjoyable for me. it is a rush bringing one down and landing at between 100-200ft/m - when my ...

Re: Ratings - system - effect

Thanks a TON Quantum and CAPFlyer! I tried to search for something like this and was give MANY results but nothing that gave me the explicit info. I guess it has been covered 1,023,986 times in the past and do appreciate you taking the time to point me to this info.

Much appreciated.

Re: Offline flying

Can't the website reject PIREPS filed too late? That way after the booking has expired, the pirep will no longer be valid or accepted, and no flight hours or revenue would be awarded. Hey there Admiral - sorry, i kind of said the same thing in my last post - answer to Quantum :) sorry - read yours ...

Re: Offline flying

of something like this. If you flew after your booking had expired and someone else had flown the aircraft in the meantime then the whole thing falls apart as fuel figures etc would all be awry and aircraft would be in the 'wrong' place. Regards John Definately makes a LOT of sense. I guess it ...
