Re: Flight Aborted - 2.5.1 - The maximum allowed simrate has been exceeded too many times, flight aborted!
For charter flights it uses the maximum sim rate for your other flights Is that a recent change? I have been flying charter flights (using this same aircraft) without issue on time accel for quite a long time until this flight. We are trying to understand if something changed, because this behavior ...

Flight Aborted - 2.5.1 - The maximum allowed simrate has been exceeded too many times, flight aborted!
I'm using the Fenix A320 for MSFS which doesn't use the simrate keystroke for MSFS and has a setting in the MCDU to enable time accel - where the only two options are Normal and 2x. I only click this once to turn it to 2x, then click it again to turn it back to 1x. As far as I know no settings have ...

Re: Sim crashed, client detected it, but no option to resume flight
Thanks a lot Joe! I really appreciate it. Was worried I had lost that flight!

Re: Sim crashed, client detected it, but no option to resume flight
Ok, not sure why but the Autosave function had been set to None in my client. I'm still on 2.5.1 and haven't touched that setting. Guessing that means I am sunk.

Sim crashed, client detected it, but no option to resume flight
My sim crashed on final approach. Normally when this happens, the FSAirlines client detects the crash and upon the next load it displays the current coordinates and the coordinates of where the crash was detected. I'm not getting that this time and wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if this ...

Re: A330-900 Neo Client and Website DOW disagreement
Ah, I see the issue. With the new seat configuration tool the weight of aircraft is not consistent, as you add and remove seats the aircraft will be heavier. We assume the DOW in the DB is with a full load of economy seats, which are supposed to weight 20kg each, business and first are 2x and 4x in ...

A330-900 Neo Client and Website DOW disagreement
Hello, I started getting client notices about exceeding MZFW. In investigating this, I noticed the FSAirlines website and the FSAirlines client disagree on the Dry Operating Weight of the same aircraft. The result is that after loading the aircraft according to my FSAirlines briefing, I am over the ...

Re: Client 2.6 ideas.
Again, 35 knots was recommended as a buffer because 30 knots is acceptable as a taxi speed. Even referenced in the Boeing doc you posted. If you don’t agree with 35 knots as the limit, I understand your point. The basis of my original point is that the intent of crash detection above 25 knots is not ...

Re: Client 2.6 ideas.
What about making it an operator configurable option? I think this would be the most realistic. Here's a link to Airbus's website where they recommend allowing the aircraft to accelerate to 30kts of taxi speed. I don't have access to an FCOM but my understanding is it's in the FCOM for the A318/19 ...

Re: Client 2.6 ideas.
- Do not record as a crash if on the ground and taxi speed less than 25 knots, some other lesser penalty will apply. Would you consider less than 35 knots? In some Airbus aircraft it is quite common to get above 25 knots taxi speed at idle thrust. 30ish knots is not uncommon. Whether that's allowed ...

Re: Resume after Flight Aborted
No you can’t manually enter the coordinates. You have to slew back to where you were. The easiest way is to slew somewhere 10-20nm on your route before the crash location. This way the aircraft can stabilize. Then when you are close enough, you can resume flight. Thankfully you have programmed e ...

Resume after Flight Aborted
I had my first 'aborted on landing' incident today when I mistakenly hit the replay button on my flight recorder without clicking through the screens in the End Flight phase of the client. I wonder if its possible to just include the option to resume an aborted flight if you're in the correct ...
