Re: Passenger capacity
Is this maybe where charter flights sit? In the past I have created charter flights for big spectator events like Olympics / Formula 1 with slightly higher ticket prices. Pilots could depart from anywhere they wished (aircraft range applies of course) which meant draw on available psngrs was spread ...

Re: just a thanks (Joe)
Listens, acts, creates. Joe has demonstrated commitment to FSA and its members for years. We really do appreciate all this hard work. Thanks Joe.

Re: Automated Pilots: Limited Beta
This all sounds really challenging, in a good way though. Looking forward to wider release. Would an option be to move into freight? A fully laden 747F service from Dubai into Europe dove tailing with a regional fleet (Gatwick) for further distribution and ultimately delivery throughout UK & Irelan ...

User name perhaps easier to identify with. Contribution from a wide audience is to be encouraged. It follows though that people have different levels of experience. I would tend to follow user names i recognise. Email names are not as friendly. But my twopence worth only.

Re: Fly By Wire A32NG Fuel Consumption
Just came across a FB post that confirms changes to FBW fuel loading. We have recently improved the A32NX flight model and finalized our weight and balance loading integration available on the development version. Please note: - We have disabled the MSFS fuel and weights UI to prevent issues. - Use ...

Re: Fly By Wire A32NG Fuel Consumption
Thanks Mike. I now realise fuel purchased through FSA Client no longer automatically adds to aircraft. I attempted another flight this time monitoring fuel loaded into FBW from Simbrief plan. Only 7400 odd lbs loaded. Edited Simbrief plan adding reserves for good measure. Recommended 21000 some odd ...

Fly By Wire A32NG Fuel Consumption
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing excessive fuel consumption in the FBW A32NG in Zmsfs. I have been flying this aircraft for the last 10 months. Recently i am finding I am running out of fuel on any flight even where a flight is well within aircraft range. According to the FSA Flight ...

Re: Scrapping special use aircraft.
Hmm our AN225 has recorded 14 flights between April 2020 and current. 14 flights in 18 months is hardly dominating the package market. Probably now time to move it into the livery museum.

Re: Pumpkins
Should the focus initially be on inactive/defunct VA fleets with a review of aircraft availability after? We are a small but active va . We have a number of aircraft deliberately placed into long term storage. Some will be approaching the 18 months - 2 year mark. Would these be forced into ...

Re: Government and Airline Bailouts
I had recently toyed with this. Ultimately I decided it was my choice to fly in MSFS and that Joe already had more than enough to do with FSA. MSFS is now 12 month plus. Yes there are issues with each world update but hot fixes are generally issued pretty quickly. I flew in FSX-SE for years and ...

MSFS FBW A32NG parking brake not recognised by Client
Anyone else finding it impossible to finish recording a flight in MSFS using FBW A320NG. With the last updates of the FBW A320 Developer Version, FSA Client is unable to read parking break state at gate after landing, meaning the flight cannot be completed. Keyboard command does not work either. Any ...

Re: Maintenance times.
I too commend Joe on the inbuilt management realism. I think there has to be a balance between features and workload for FSA Admin. If we add in Wi-Fi etc it follows that ticket prices on aircraft with these features would also rise. A quick random check shows tkt prices VHHH-EGLL already range from ...
