Re: Google Maps problems

I have no idea how map interfaces work but here is an open source one many websites use:

https://www.openstreetmap.org/about

Kinda agree with the above post. It's nice eye candy but not if the cost makes said eye candy prohibitive.

Re: Charter Ticket Prices to Random Charter Destinations

Charter ticket prices are set at a fixed rate for any given route (125% of standard? can't remember exactly). If you want to play with ticket price adjustments you need to create a flight route and set your own rate. When you create/edit a route, you can see exactly what the competition is charging ...

Re: Airline Finance Graph Show Entire Value

yikes that made me tired just reading about it, let alone not having the brains to figure it out. LOL Why not just take the balance sheet "balance" on a daily basis, say at X:XX hours daily and build a graph from that going forward? example: right now my "cash" is at 5,790,034,505 but my bottom line ...

Re: Dark Mode

ok I am dumb. What the heck is "Dark Mode" anyway? I prefer to fly with the lights on for takeoff and landing. LOL

EDIT: never mind I figured it out on the beta -- black background instead of white. :!:

Re: Airline Finance Graph Show Entire Value

The graph in finances? Yeah that could be overall value as long as we leave the cash balance on the overview sheet alone. I use that "balance" on the overview page as a quick glance indicator to see if I am flying enough to pay the monthly bills like a checkbook balance. I rarely look at the graph ...

Re: Automated Pilots: Limited Beta

If you had packages for CYQR on that last CRJ9 flight into CYWG, the distance is too far to deliver them by ground. 287.18 nm At this point you can either fly to Regina CYQR and deliver them or go to VA packages and select 'release' and take the financial hit for not delivering them. If I got the ...

Re: Fixed Landing Gear Issue (Black Box Trislander)

Has to be a MSFS goof as the Trislander was derived from the Islander which also had fixed gear. None of them ever had retractable landing gear. Good call tho to check the client status. My kodiak floater has retracts and the land version of course does not so I will be employing that "after takeoff ...

Re: Automated Pilots: Limited Beta

OK, see if I can break this down for you: On Mar 4 you went over 100 hours with this pilot. But none of those hours will come off the books until the 11th as you have recorded those hours between Feb 11 and Mar 4. So yes the days count but there are no flight hours to come off the books between Feb ...

Re: Automated Pilots: Limited Beta

yes it is a rolling 28 days as in the real world. Not sure where you are seeing "time at home". If you are referring to the time at home happiness score, I found out through trial and error in the beta testing that a pilot has to be home a lot more than you would think to bring that happiness score ...

Re: Cornering the Market

Well if you want something fast and right now, they are the "7-11 store" with comparable higher pricing. If you don't mind waiting, you can save a few million by simply ordering one off the out of production list A320-200 for example. So I don't see any monopoly type thing going on at all. I think ...

Re: Removing Type Certificates

Re: Removing Type Certificates

doing a test to see if I win my 757/767 Certificate back if the happiness score goes back up. All the other expired ones are for aircraft smaller.

Re: Removing Type Certificates

yeah if you haven't flown a type in 12 months, you need full recurrency training. If it's easy enough to set up auto delete after that time frame, I'd be OK with that. I don't want to make a whole lot of work out of this. Like you said, human pilots like myself can just ignore the happiness score ...

Re: Removing Type Certificates

I guess I just don't understand how it all works. So what you are saying is because I have the 767 type certificate and am flying mostly 737's at this point, that one expired certificate is causing the more than 50% drop in the type ratings score? All the other certificates are aircraft smaller than ...

Removing Type Certificates

Is there a way a pilot can delete now unused type certificates that are killing their happiness rating?
