Re: Automated Pilots
All these sound like great ideas. First will you allow for more then 10 like the original idea? I think it would work better for large airlines that have several hubs. Having different pay scales would be great, but like 5% and they might show up for work, 10% they will but can have some issues like ...

Re: Automated Pilots
The point being, would these automated pilots have to go through a training regime to build their hours up to fly a particular aircraft, would they be 'perfect' pilots and not incur any penalties or crashes as actual pilots do, will the flights have a pre-selected chance of an in-flight failure of ...

Re: Automated Pilots
Good evening all :) As a single pilot airline for the majority of it's time (Brussels Busy Jet), I have to say I'm not too keen on this idea. I have random failures on the flights I fly, and real weather, and I'd like to know if these attributes would be carried over into these 'automated pilots ...

Re: Automated Pilots
I understand there are those who desire to be "airline managers" vs "airline pilots", and while we have found out the hard way at Fly Vegas that bigger is not always better (we have downsized by over 75 aircraft), we may be in the minority. Maybe perhaps some sort of separate Airline Manager Mode ...

Re: Automated Pilots
Hi Joe and all the rest. So here is my deal, My airline here is almost 6 year old, I don't get any one to fly and I don't really fly too much. I bought AirHauler 2 that has virtual pilots, they fly the routes and get points and rank up and all that. When you brought this up I was thinking this would ...

Re: Wiki Improvements
There is so much to think about in the Wiki, but updating it would probably be the most important before adding anything. Take the page on Importing Flight Routes, I was looking on it, and noticed it was over 10 years old, there is something about a Flynet number that I can't find, and the screens ...

Re: Fixes to Common Problems
Got a new one showing up using the latest client, you get to your airport and It reports that you changed position and cancels your flight. It happen to me the other day flying Anchorage Alaska to Seattle Washington. I re did the flight and it worked. Then one of my pilots did the UK to Atlanta and ...

Re: Some thoughts on Penalties.
Hey, my friend with x-plane 11 was saying that his landing lights were reflecting off clouds. Still waiting to hear more about FSW and P3D v4.0 (64 bit). anyway have a nice day. Since P3D4 is now out we should be able to get it without too much time. I will get it soon. For FSW, its still unknown ...

Re: Some thoughts on Penalties.
I hate to say this, but landing lights are only required, and I repeat required on landing and take off, not for decent or climb out, but then FAA regulations allows for them to be turned off if using them would interfere with the safe operation of own aircraft or any others in the area, and so if ...

Re: Some thoughts on Penalties.
Working on the client takes the longest because it's one thing I can't do on the train in the morning, so be patent, it is coming, so far here is what I am planning. 4) Hard Landings - New penalty 5%, would get if VS on landing was greater than 500fpm. All are great, just I would suggest 750fpm for ...

Re: New Year Poll
Interesting idea on gates. But the way gates work in the real world is that airlines lease gates at an airport and once they are all leased other airlines are locked out. Not sure how that would work on FSA I think some type of system that affects how many passengers for the pilot based on pilot ...
