Re: EVERYBODY READ THIS!!! Admin Concerns / RWA Concerns

It doesnt matter, you use it, so you - guilty. Change it if u dont wanna share our destiny.
No. Its a standard FSA signature. I can't do anything. Anyway its a picture of an FS model, do you know if the model designer has the rights? ;)

Re: EVERYBODY READ THIS!!! Admin Concerns / RWA Concerns

Don't know about specific cases, (maybe the original poster does?), but some FSA airlines have permission from the real airlines to use images and logos etc.

BTW, the STAR Alliance pic in my sig is not my doing, it is uploaded by someone else. ;)

Re: Ratings - system - effect

Actually, this isn't accurate. The landing light detection is disabled if you are under 25 knots and under 30 feet AGL (or something close to that, I couldn't find the note from Claudio on the matter off hand). This was done to alleviate the "hopping aircraft" problem from getting you dinged. News ...

Re: Ratings - system - effect

is there any penalty for leaving them on at all or visa versa?
No.
Only if you turn them off and the a/c leaves the ground whilst taxiing ;)

Re: Ratings - system - effect

is there anything in force that required them to be turned off as soon as one leaves the runway during taxi? No. I recommend you keep them on despite the proper procedure. If your scenery causes the a/c to hop (as sometimes happens), and the landing lights are off, you will get dinged. It would be ...

I go with a Beech 1900 airliner.
Probably a D model from the depth of the fuselage. ;)

Re: Unable to fly hanger aircraft

Not sure if this is your problem, but I believe that you can only file a flight-plan if your pilot is at the same airport as the aircraft.
Otherwise you will get the "aircraft not found" message.

Re: Need help understanding fuel entries :(

In my experience the compare method works this way: A=Fuel left over from previous flight. B=Fuel loaded in the simulation before starting the client. C=Amount of fuel invoiced=B-A Note that if B<A then you end up with B loaded. C=0 (you pay nothing) but A-B is dumped onto the tarmac (probably ...

Re: Inconsistant DB field (Aircraft Type) ICAO only on ERJ145XR?

I made a request to change the originally incorrect ICAO of E14X to E45X.
Although it is now correct in the db, I believe that each individual aircraft has to be actually flown for its data to be refreshed.

Landing rates.

Hi. I am experiencing frequent overstating of touchdown descent rates with the client v0.6.9b It occurs with all aircraft at some times, but is particularly noticeable with small GA aircraft and very gentle landings. It is often that a kiss landing generates a descent rate of -800 ft/minute or more ...

Re: flights planed but not showing in book flight

Hi. Not sure exactly what your problem is, a little more information could help, but - For a flight to be bookable you need to have all of the following : Flight plan with correct aircraft type specified. (With correct FlyNET id not just ICAO) Aircraft of that type at the departure airport. (Not ...

Re: Miles On The Stats Page

This is an interesting topic and people clearly have differing viewpoints. Purely for the stimulation of discussion, and not as the basis of any accusation or criticism, I offer my own. * We are all using a flight simulator. * There is no such thing as a completely fair system. * We all have a real ...

I have probably explained it poorly. ;)
I mean when you login-in and then look at the second tab under Personal, which is Messages.

Empty inbox

Hi

For the last couple of days my message inbox (on the website not the forum) has displayed "no messages found" even though there are both new and undeleted old messages.
Does anyone else have this little problem, or is it just me?

Graham (KBV101-CEO Westbridge Air Services)
