Re: 15nm flights an225
Gentlemen, I apologise apriori for the length of my message but here are my views on the famous and infamous simrate arguement, which is as old here as these forums. FS realism dictates 1x max simrate, I agree. Don't forget though that except "FS realism" there is also "Real-life realism". There are ...

Hiring pilots
Hello everybody, I have re-created Ionathan Airlines. We are based in Greece, using Athens (LGAV) as our main international and domestic hub and Rhodes (LGRP) as a secondary domestic one. Our fleet consists of A320, A333, B734, B744 and Dash-7 with B738 soon to join as well. We have everything from ...

Re: 15nm flights an225
I will agree with MMatyK for his views about flying for fun and enjoyment but not everybody thinks this way. Neither those who "waste their time" flying those 15nm at 16x using gigantic aircrafts, nore those who "waist their time" constantly pointing and criticising them. Admit it guys, both want to ...

Manager needed for vintage branch
Hello everybody. I've decided to start a new branch in Ionathan Airlines which will deal with vintage aircrafts and I need a manager to deal with this, starting with the 40s and 50s ages, planning to gradually expand up to 80s (included). The requested manager will deal with suggesting aircrafts to ...

Re: Cancel all flights!?!
Well, and now that the story is over (hopefully), I am just letting you know that I was one of those who paid for the volcanic ash. I was in Krakow those days (real life of course) and I could not return to Athens. Eventually I had to pick the coash solution... 2000Km (36 hours) sitting on that ...

Re: grahpic card requests
But don't forget the NVIDIA anti-alising problem. It still exists for years. Doesn't happen always but you don't know when it hits. If you fly commonly in VATSIM, having the SB3 windows inside your FS2004, you may have had some flights lost due to that.

Re: flight time calculation
To say the truth, I don't like the suggested new feature adding 25 minutes to each flight because I already take that into consideration, plus the arcraft's preparation time as interval between consequent flights. That new feature would remove some flightplanning activity making it autimatic and I ...

Re: flight time calculation
So, if the online flightplaning does those calculations, how will the batch upload work? I mean if I create the .txt file and upload it, will the system accept it as it is or expand the flight times?

Re: flight time calculation
If you just want the flight time, this site is what you are looking for. You only need to know airport ICAO codes and you aircraft's speed.
